EGAT in cooperation with Ministry of Energy to hold Thailand Energy Efficiency Week 2017

          EGAT, Ministry of Energy, and the Federation of Thai Industries in cooperation with IMPACT Exhibition Management Co., Ltd and MEX Exhibitions will hold Thailand Energy Efficiency Week 2017 on May 11-13, 2017 at Challenger Hall 1, IMPACT Muang Thong Thani, in response to the Government’s energy saving plan. Three big events showing domestic and international energy saving innovations will be the biggest floor for business negotiation in ASEAN.

          On December 7, 2016 Mr. Boonyanit Wongrukmit, Deputy Governor – Corporate Social Affairs chaired the press conference of Thailand Energy Efficiency Week 2017, the Thai and international energy saving exhibition which will be held on May 11-13, 2017 at Challenger Hall 1, IMPACT Muang Thong Thani and is expected that there will be 20,000 visitors. The press conference was also attended by media, manufacturers, and EGAT executives and staff at Centara Grand at Central Plaza Ladprao Bangkok.

          The Deputy Governor said that since 2013, as EGAT gave more importance on energy saving in every sector, efficient use of electric power has been strongly supported. Moreover, in response to the 20-year Energy Efficiency Plan (2015-2036) with the target to reduce the energy use of 30% by 2036 and the short and long term strategies to support energy conservation in every sector, EGAT in cooperation with IMPACT Exhibition Management Co., Ltd and MEX Exhibitions, India will hold Thailand Energy Efficiency Week 2017. It is the international exhibition on power control system and energy conservation technology to encourage the sustainable use of high-efficient power saving appliances in Thailand and exchange the knowledge on electricity, energy, and electronics that will be beneficial for Thailand and ASEAN. The event will be held on May 11-13, 2017 at Challenger Hall 1, IMPACT Muang Thong Thani. It is expected that there will be 400 exhibitors and 20,000 visitors with the flow of money around 1,000 million baht.

          Miss Pornpan Bulner, Director of IMPACT Exhibition Organizer, IMPACT Exhibition Management Co., Ltd said that Thailand Energy Efficiency Week 2017 is comprised of 3 big events namely LED Expo Thailand 2017, Thailand Energy Saving Expo 2017, and PCB Expo Thailand 2017, which covers the area of 25,000 square meters. It is regarded the biggest international exhibition on energy saving in ASEAN. For the 4 consecutive years that the event has been held, a lot of global organizations which are the leaders on energy saving innovations have participated.

          The event is divided into trade fair in the first 2 days. The general public can visit the event on the last day to buy energy saving appliances with special prices such as the industrial light bulbs under the concept of LED Lighting for Smart Living including Architectural Lighting Pavilion, Smart Lighting Pavilion, and LED Signage Pavilion. Moreover, there are zones to display label No. 5 energy saving appliances, energy saving concepts, energy efficiency measure, and EGAT energy saving innovations.

          In this event, Thailand Energy Saving Summit & Thailand LED Summit, an international seminar on energy saving technology and LED products, gallery zone, LED tunnel, business negotiation, VIP hosted buyer campaign will be also found.
