Royal crematorium construction in progress

Deputy Prime Minister Gen. Thanasak Patimapakorn disclosed that the Fine Arts Department had already completed the construction of the Song Tham pavilion’s structure and will soon begin the architectural work, according to the National News Bureau of Thailand.

NNT reported that some of the ceremonial grounds have already been paved, and after the Royal Plowing Ceremony the exhibition building in honor of His late Majesty will be demolished by 1 June.

The committee for the royal ceremony has instructed the Ministry of the Interior to order its representatives from each province to attend the ceremony, and informed that the committee will designate areas for the public to receive cremation flowers.
