Mr Chirayu Israngkura na Ayudhya has been appointed the new secretary-general of the Bureau of the Royal Household succeeding Mr Kaewkwan Watcharothai who passed away recently.
Former industry minister in the government of General Prem Tinsulanonda, Mr Chirayu is director-general of the Crown Property Bureau.
In an announcement of the Prime Minister’s Office which was published in the Royal Gazette on Sunday, His Majesty the King issued a royal command, making eight other appointments in the Bureau of the Royal Household as follows:
ACM Sathitpong Sukvimon, deputy secretary-general for policy management and operations; Lt-Col Somchai Kanchamanee, deputy secretary-general for residential affairs; Pol Gen Chumpol Munmai, deputy secretary-general for security and special activities; Kwankaew Watcharothai, deputy secretary-general.
Mr Narongrith Snidvongs na Ayudhya, deputy secretary-general; Mr Chintana Chuensiri, deputy secretary-general for financial affairs; Mr Songkram Sapcharoen, personal doctor; and Pol Gen Pongsak Rohitopakarn, senior official of the Krom Wang.
