Bangkok: Cyber police are preparing to take legal action against two members of the Oreo gang, sending a summons to ‘Ta’ to Khlong Luang Police Station in a gambling website case, and are preparing to block the illegal Five M game, as the game distributor is also involved in the crime.

According to Thai News Agency, Pol. Lt. Gen. Trairong Phiwpaen, commander of the Technology Crime Investigation Division, revealed that cyber police have examined video clips of the Oreo gang that were shared on social media and found that many clips show physical abuse of others and forcing victims to do inappropriate things. Cyber police have identified two people who are suspected of being at fault and must be prosecuted.

The first person is ‘Ta Oreo’ who posted an invitation to play online gambling. The Cyber Police sent a summons to Mr. Ta at Khlong Luang Police Station to acknowledge the charges. As for the date of the appointment, it depends on whether Mr. Ta has been granted bail in the assault case at Khlong Luang Police Station or not. As for the gambling website, the police are investigating to expand the case and check the connection between the website and Mr. Ta. The other person who must be prosecuted is the person who posted the clip of him being forced to take off his pants and eat grass, which is considered the distribution of obscene media.

As for other clips, the Cyber Police are currently investigating whether there are any other behaviors that fall under the responsibility of the Cyber Police. If they do, all of them will be prosecuted. As for the guns, it is initially known that the Khlong Luang Police Station searched the gang’s residence but did not find any illegal items.

In addition, the Five M game, the police also found that it is a game that has not been approved by the relevant agencies. The game server is custom, using the Discord app to modify the conversation in the game. Therefore, the Cyber Police will proceed to block it according to the relevant regulations and laws. And those who distribute the Five M game will also be guilty of the law.

Pol. Lt. Gen. Trirong also asked parents to supervise their children and educate them about playing games of this nature, so that they know what is the virtual world, what is the game world, what is the real world, and what is not meant to be done in the real world. Whether it is fighting or stabbing each other, whether they win or lose in the game, it must end in the game.
