On January 18, 2021, Deputy Labour Minister Prof. Narumon Pinyosinwat reported that as the Covid-19 pandemic continues to intensify, the Thailand Institute of Occupational Safety and Health (Public Organization), or TOSH, is concerned for those who want to attend seminars on occupational safety and health. Therefore, it has become a part of promoting people to live in the new normal by adjusting its training format online, through Facebook Live (Facebook Fanpage: TOSH) to allow business establishments to have training opportunities, leading to the continuous development of organizational potential.
The Deputy Labour Minister added that the training is organized under the “Forward Culture of Prevention for Safety Thailand 2021” concept, held between January 21-22, 2021. It is a seminar on “Safety for Creation,” preventing Covid-19 outbreaks and promoting economic recovery. The trainees will receive knowledge on Safety Job Analysis (JSA) and prepare safe operating procedures in a One Page WI form, techniques for working in confined spaces safely, how to safely store dangerous chemicals, and safety management standards in working at heights. Participants can choose training topics as needed. They will gain knowledge to develop their potential in occupational safety, health, and working environment, cultivating awareness of work safety and applying knowledge to work practices. Furthermore, participants can expand and share the content from the training for others to know and implement.
For business establishments, employers, employees, and general individuals interested in increasing their knowledge of safety, this activity aims to encourage all sectors to work together to create a preventive safety culture. Details and training topics can be found at www.tosh.or.th. For more information, contact 0 2448 9111 from today onwards. The training is free of cost.
