Ministry of Energy, EGAT, and the private sector will hold ASEAN Sustainable Energy Week 2017 on June 7-10, 2017
On May 24, 2017, Mr. Tatree Riewcharoen, EGAT Assistant Governor-Corporate Social Affairs, attended the press conference of ASEAN Sustainable Energy Week 2017 together with Mr. Twarath Sutabutr, Director – Energy Policy and Planning office, Mr. Manoo Liewpairoj, President – UBM Asia (Thailand) Co Ltd, Associate Professor Doctor Sirintornthep Towprayoon, Joint Graduate School of Energy and Environment, King Mongkut’s University of Technology Thonburi, Mr. Sanun Angubonkul, Vice President – Thai Chamber of Commerce, and Mr. Suwat Kamonpanas, President – Renewable Energy Industry, the Federation of Thai Industries at the Sukosol Bangkok Hotel.
Mr. Manoo Liewpairoj, President – UBM Asia (Thailand) Co Ltd said that ASEAN Sustainable Energy Week 2017 is the biggest exhibition and conference on renewable energy, energy efficiency, and environmental conservation in ASEAN. It would be held in parallel with Renewable Energy Asia Energy Efficiency Expo and Entech Pollutec Asia on June 7-10, 2017 at Bangkok International Trade and Exhibition Center. 1,500 manufacturers from 35 countries
Mr. Tatree Riewcharoen, Assistant Governor-Corporate Social Affairs, EGAT said that EGAT regards the importance of energy efficiency on both of demand side and supply side. The campaign EGAT has implemented on energy efficiency is electrical appliance, energy saving building, and energy saving behavior. There will be speakers from EGAT to present electricity generating technology to mitigate global warming. Moreover, EGAT has also supported electric vehicle and environmental protection.
In this event, there will be campaign on power saving, presentations by speakers who are experts on science and electric vehicle, and renewable energy technology showcase.
