Labour Minister Assigns Advisor to Pay Homage to His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej, the “Father of Thai Craftsmanship”

Labour Minister Mr. Suchart Chomklin assigned Advisor to the Labour Minister Mrs. Thiwalrat Angkinan to participate in the ceremony to pay homage to His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej, the “Father of Thai Craftsmanship” in commemoration of His Majesty the King on the National Labour Skill Standard Day which takes place on March 2 of each year.

On March 2, 2021, at 08.30 hours, Labour Minister Mr. Suchart Chomklin assigned Advisor to the Labour Minister Mrs. Thiwalrat Angkinan to participate in the ceremony to pay homage to His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej, the “Father of Thai Craftsmanship.” Phetchaburi Provincial Governor Mr. Phakphong Twiphat presided over the ceremony at the Poomphumin meeting room, Sripitthayapanya Building, Phetchaburi Polytechnic College.

The event was organized following the Cabinet’s Resolution on February 17, 2019, which approved to present the Royal Ordinance “Father of Thai Craftsmanship ” to His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej. The resolution also approved for the designation of March 2 of each year as the “National Labour Standard Day” by stipulating the ceremony to pay homage to the late King. The objective is to allow people of all groups to remember His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej’s grace as the Father of Thai Craftsmanship. It also creates incentives and encourages government agencies, private organizations, and business establishments to recognize the importance of national skill standards.
