Labour Minister Mr. Suchart Chomklin commenced the “Workforce Fighting Together” project, providing proactive Covid-19 screening services for insured persons in the social security system under Sections 33, 39, and 40 in red area zones. The program is another channel or option to service insured persons to receive fast screening services, reducing congestion and long queues. The services are free of cost and will be available from April 24 to 30. Queue card collection starts at 06.00 hours, and screenings start at 08.00 hours, facilitating 200 people per day. Insured persons are required to bring their ID cards and three certified copies of their national ID cards. The occasion took place at the Vibharam Amatanakorn Hospital, Chonburi Province.
On April 24, 2021, Labour Minister Mr. Suchart Chomklin presided over the opening of the “Workforce Fighting Together” project, providing proactive Covid-19 screening services for insured persons at the Vibharam Amatanakorn Hospital, Chonburi Province. Assistant to the Labour Minister Mr. Surachai Chaitrakulthong, the Labour Minister’s Secretariat Mr. Suthep Chitayavong, Police Major General Nantachat Supamongkol from the Office of the Prime Minister’s Secretariat, Member of the House of Representatives from Chonburi Province Mr. Ronathep Anuwat, Permanent Secretary of Labour Mr. Suthi Sukosol, Chonburi Provincial Governor Mr. Phakthorn Thianchai, Chonburi Deputy Provincial Governor Mr. Thawatchai Srithong, the Social Security Office’s Secretary General Mr. Tosapol Kritawongwiman, Chonburi Social Security Officer Commander Lieutenant Vittavat Koodprasert, Director of Vibharam Amatanakorn Hospital Dr. Thanu Lobandis and the Ministry of Labour’s executives, also joined the occasion.
Mr. Suchart said that Prime Minister General Prayuth Chan-ocha is concerned for insured persons amid the Covid-19 situation and instructed the Ministry of Labour to work with the Ministry of Interior and the National Health Security Office (NHSO) to add more channels or options to service insured persons to be examined quickly, to reduce congestion or long queues. Today, The Labour Minister and relevant departments went to the area to commence the “Workforce Fighting Together” project to provide Covid-19 screening services for insured persons in Chonburi. The project is a collaboration between the Ministry of Labour’s Social Security Office in Chonburi together with the Chonburi Provincial NHSO Region 6 and Vibharam Amatanakorn Hospital in Chonburi Province to serve as a Covid-19 screening facility for insured persons in red areas or the highest control areas. The project aims to reduce congestion and facilitate insured persons under Sections 33, 39, and 40 located in Chonburi Province, free of charge.
Mr. Suchart continued that the screenings for high-risk insured persons in Chonburi Province start from today (April 24, 2021) until April 30, 2021, at Vibharam Amatanakorn Hospital. The facility can provide accommodation screening services for 200 people per day. Insured persons under Sections 33, 39, and 40 with high-risk according to the NHSO guidelines can travel to Vibharam Amatanakorn Hospital for examination. The examination queue card will start at 06.00 hours, and the hospital will start the screening services at 08.00 hours. Insured persons must bring their ID cards and three certified copies of their national ID cards for quick services. The hospital will screen for diseases, and if insured persons meet the criteria, they will be examined without cost.
The project aims to take care of insured persons infected with Covid-19 to be examined and treated quickly. It is also part of supporting government policies to reduce Covid-19 outbreaks in the nation.
