Police on Tuesday sought warrants from the Military Court for the arrest of three suspects alleged to be involved in the bomb and arson attacks in Hua Hin during August 10-12.
Pol Gen Srivara Rangsipromnakul, the national deputy police chief, who is in charge of the case, said that police had obtained more evidences to press additional charges of murder and attempted murder against the three suspects identified as Ruslan Baima, Hasmin Katemmadee and Seri Waemamu.
Arrest warrants were earlier issued by the Military Court against the three suspects on charges of arson and possessing explosives.
Pol Gen Srivara said police had detained one suspect for interrogation but he declined to give any information about the suspect.
He claimed that police had made progress in investigating other bomb and arson attacks which took place during the same period in six other southern provinces. He expected all the cases to be wrapped up within a month.
