People of all walks of life many of them donning pink shirts continued to flock to Siriraj hospital to pray for and express well wishes to His Majesty the King.
They gathered in front of the Sala Siriraj Centenary building with several of them sitting on the roofless open ground of the building, holding portraits of HM the King while others performing religious rite in front of the statue of the Prince Father or Prince Mahidol, the father of Thai medicines.
One of the well wishers, Mrs Nokyoong Phirom, said she came from Nakhon Pathom three days ago and has been at the Siriraj hospital to pray for the King’s quick recovery from his ailments.
She said she felt the King was the father of the land who had worked hard throughout his life for the betterment of his subjects. Personally, she added she was proud to be born under the King’s reign.
Similar opinion was shared by many other well wishers who showed up at the hospital.
