Both countries have potential to further expand mutual cooperation, especially in security, science and technology, and innovation, tourism, and economic cooperation. Italy is interested in investing in the fields of space engineering, technology and innovation, and smart farming.

Toward the end of the meeting, both parties also discussed relations between Thailand, Italy, and ASEAN.
