December 18, 2018, at 1330hrs, at the Command Building I, Government House, following the weekly cabinet meeting, Prime Minister Gen. Prayut Chan-o-cha disclosed that the Government has closely monitored flood situation in the South. All concerned agencies are ordered to put collective effort in promptly providing relief and help to affected residents, especially on transport, and their livelihood. Deputy Prime Minister Gen. Chatchai Sarikulya will take the field trip to the South to observe the situation, and look into sustainable solutions to flood problem. The Prime Minister also urged the public to closely follow up on the weather forecast in preparing for their New Year travel.
