Bangkok: The commander of the Technology Crime Suppression Division has confirmed the second arrest of ‘Minnie’ and announced an upcoming press conference to address the details of the case. The investigation is ongoing, and authorities are looking into whether this arrest is connected to a previous case involving the same individual.
According to Thai News Agency, Pol. Lt. Gen. Trairong Phiwpaen, Commander of the Technology Crime Suppression Division (TCSD), stated that Minnie’s arrest was confirmed, with details provided by Pol. Maj. Gen. Sirawat Deepo, Commander of the TCSD Division 1. The operation led to the issuance of 33 arrest warrants, and searches were conducted across nine locations in various provinces. The operation resulted in the arrest of several suspects, including Minnie.
Pol. Lt. Gen. Trairong reported that Minnie was apprehended in the Bangkok area. He mentioned that the arrest involved crimes committed on separate occasions, akin to a repeat offender scenario. However, it remains unclear if the new case is linked to the previous one. The authorities plan to provide further information during a press conference scheduled for tomorrow afternoon.
Questions about potential connections to the earlier case and the involvement of high-ranking police officers remain unanswered. Pol. Lt. Gen. Trairong advised waiting for the official press conference for more comprehensive details.
