Nakhon ratchasima: Four teenagers were taken to the scene to reenact the crime and give a confession regarding the fatal assault of a Myanmar migrant worker near the railway tracks in Nai Mueang Subdistrict, Mueang Nakhon Ratchasima District.
According to Thai News Agency, the incident occurred on May 20th when Aung Kyaw Soe, a 35-year-old Myanmar migrant worker, was attacked and stabbed in the chest by a group of Thai teenagers. The attack left him with severe injuries, leading to his death near the railway tracks on Jira Road. Following the incident, police at Mueang Nakhon Ratchasima Police Station arrested four suspects involved in the crime.
The individuals involved in the assault include Mr. Win, age 19, who used a knife to stab the victim. Two 15-year-old youths participated, with one using their foot to kick, while the other engaged in kicking and punching. Additionally, a 13-year-old youth used a helmet to hit the victim on the arm. The police seized a 14-centimeter-long pocket knife used in the attack and charged the four suspects with "jointly assaulting another person resulting in death."
A background check revealed that Mr. Win had a prior record of two theft convictions and was recently released from prison on April 3, 2026. The other three suspects have no prior criminal records or outstanding arrest warrants. After reenacting the crime, police took the suspects to court for detention and are expediting the case file.
