His Majesty the King’s general condition remains unstable and he has to be kept under close monitoring by Royal doctors at Siriraj hospital, said the Bureau of the Royal Household in the 38th announcement released Wednesday night.
According to the announcement, on Tuesday, HM the King’s blood pressure dropped again and his pulse fastened as acid in the blood increased. Blood tests showed inflammation and abnormal function of the liver and doctors administered antibiotic to reduce acid in the blood and medication to control increased blood pressure.
Doctors also administered ventilator and continuous renal replacement therapy (CRRT) on HM the King. The general condition has not stabilized and medication has to be applied.
Doctors are closely monitoring the symptoms and providing treatment accordingly, said the announcement.
