Three DSI officers moved out to undertake “important missions”

Three senior officers of the Department of Special Investigation were transferred to the Prime Minister’s Office to carry out important missions, said justice deputy permanent secretary Thawatchai Thaikhieu on Thursday.

He said that the letter from the PM’s Office asking for the transfer of the three DSI officers did not specify the nature of the jobs they were to be assigned to and the Justice Ministry had no objection to the request.

DSI director-general Pol Col Paisith Wongmuang declined to comment on the transfer of his three men, saying that it was an order from his superior.

The three officers transferred are Pol Lt-Col Pong-in Intharakhao and Pol Lt-Col Sombooon Sarisith, both deputy directors-general of the DSI, and Pol Lt-Col Chinchote Putthiwatthada, commander of the Office of Development and Support of Special Cases.
