Former social development and human security minister Watana Muangsook today reported himself to the military after he posted condolence message to mourn the death of a man who hanged himself to death to protest the enforcement of Section 44.
Watana said he still did not exactly know if what he posted on his Facebook page expressing regret over the sacrifice of Anawat Tanacharoenrat would be a main reason.
He said he posted comments on several issues including politics, reconciliation, and Dhammakaya and Section 44 and didn’t know what particular issue that forced the military junta to invite him to the First Army Region’s 21st Infantry Regiment headquarters for clarification.
However he says he remained confident that the meeting wouldn’t take too much time as what he commented was personal opinion.
