Thai Airways Expands Global Network with 62 Flight Routes for Summer 2026

Bangkok: Thai Airways International Public Company Limited has unveiled an extensive flight schedule for the summer 2026 season, featuring a total of 62 routes that will connect Bangkok to key destinations across Europe, Asia, and Australia. This development positions Bangkok as a central hub for international travel, reinforcing Thailand's strategic role in global aviation.

According to Thai News Agency, the airline's summer schedule spans from March 29 to October 24, 2026, and includes a mix of domestic and international flights. The European and Australian routes feature significant connectivity with daily flights scheduled to major cities such as Munich, Frankfurt, London, Istanbul, Stockholm, and Paris. Notably, the Bangkok-Frankfurt and Bangkok-London routes will operate with 14 flights per week, ensuring robust connectivity. Additional destinations such as Perth, Melbourne, and Sydney in Australia will also see daily services, with Melbourne and Sydney offering up to 14 flights per week.

On the Asian front, a comprehensive network connects Bangkok to major Asian cities with several routes operating multiple flights per week. For instance, the Bangkok-Manila and Bangkok-Tokyo (Narita) routes will each run 14 and 21 flights per week, respectively. Other key Asian destinations include Osaka, Nagoya, Hong Kong, Taipei, and Singapore, with the Bangkok-Singapore route featuring an impressive 35 flights per week. Additionally, flights to Beijing will increase from 7 to 14 flights per week starting April 16, 2026.

Domestically, Thai Airways will maintain strong connectivity within Thailand with frequent flights from Bangkok to popular destinations such as Chiang Mai, Phuket, and Hat Yai. The Bangkok-Chiang Mai route will operate with 42 flights per week, while the Bangkok-Phuket route will see 56 flights per week, catering to both local travelers and international tourists seeking to explore Thailand.
