Huamark: A 46-year-old man was apprehended by police after carrying a rider into his house and severely beating him. The incident occurred at a luxury home in Soi Rama 9 Soi 35, Huamark Subdistrict, which also serves as a ready-made clothing export company. The perpetrator claimed he felt intruded upon, prompting his violent actions. Despite the firearm used being properly registered, the suspect faces multiple charges.

According to Thai News Agency, police from Huamark Police Station arrested Mr. Sirianon, the homeowner, and confiscated five automatic magazine-loaded firearms. The arrest followed Mr. Sirianon’s assault on Mr. Uthit, a rider, who sustained injuries while collecting a package order. Mr. Uthit recounted the harrowing experience, describing how the perpetrator fired a shot at the door, pointed the gun at him, and repeatedly struck him. The situation escalated as Mr. Sirianon dragged and kicked Mr. Uthit, who begged for his life, only to be met with further violence.

Pol. Col. Porntawee Somwong, Superintendent of Huamark Police Station, reported that police were alerted around 3:30 p.m. about a rider being forcibly taken into the house. Upon arrival, officers faced an electric fence surrounding the property and had to contact the suspect’s mother to gain entry. Inside, they discovered the perpetrator in the living room, along with the firearms. Mr. Sirianon, under the influence of alcohol, justified his actions by claiming repeated disturbances from riders over the past days, leading him to feel threatened.

The investigation revealed that Mr. Sirianon’s firearms were registered, though the legality is under scrutiny. He currently faces charges of bodily harm, illegal detention, and potential violations under the Firearms Act. Authorities are assessing the injuries sustained by Mr. Uthit to determine if additional charges are warranted.

In a related incident, a neighbor known as Mr. Top (pseudonym) reported collateral damage to his boss’s property due to a stray bullet fired by Mr. Sirianon. Despite the incident causing injury and property damage, the neighbor hesitated to report it, fearing repercussions due to Mr. Sirianon’s connections with a local government official.
