Kanchanaburi: “Akranan” proposes a campaign strategy that won’t negatively impact local residents. Akranan announced a campaign strategy to minimize disruption to local residents, adjusting the campaign vehicle time from 8:00 AM to 10:00 AM to reduce noise pollution. He affirmed his commitment to respecting the rights and considering the quality of life of the people.
According to Thai News Agency, Mr. Akranan Kankittinant, former MP for Kanchanaburi from the Pheu Thai Party, registered as a candidate for his former constituency, District 1, representing the Pheu Thai Party. He drew ballot number 5 and declared his readiness to fight in this election. He immediately began campaigning in the area.
Mr. Akranan also posted on his personal Facebook page announcing his approach to using a campaign vehicle for his election campaign in Kanchanaburi Province, specifically in Mueang District and Nong Kum Subdistrict. He stated that due to the significant changes in times and people’s lifestyles, election campaigning
needs to adapt to contemporary society, prioritizing the well-being and convenience of the people. He understands that many people don’t wake up early, some may work at night, and others may be resting or sleeping.
Therefore, guidelines have been established for the use of campaign vehicles to minimize their impact on the public. These include limiting the use of campaign vehicles to no more than 5 hours per day, specifically between 10:00 AM and 3:00 PM, to avoid disturbing public rest. The noise level of campaign vehicles is also limited to 65-70 dB(A) measured at a distance of approximately 1 meter from the vehicle, a level that is clearly audible and does not cause annoyance.
All campaign vehicles must strictly adhere to these guidelines. If the public observes any campaign vehicle exceeding the permitted noise level, please report it to the Coordination Center at telephone number 0851497003 (Saint) so that immediate investigation and correction can be taken.
We also apologize to the public in the area
if our campaigning during this period may cause any noise disturbance. We reaffirm our intention to conduct our campaign respectfully, with regard for the rights of the people and with consideration for their well-being. Thank you very much for your understanding and cooperation.
