According to Thai News Agency, in the women's doubles final, the two Thai sisters put up a close fight against Luo Yi and Wang Dingji, the 3rd seeded pair ranked 30th in the world from China. Thailand took the first game 21-17, but the Chinese pair rallied to win the second 21-19 and then dominated the deciding game 21-14, resulting in a 1-2 defeat for the Thai pair.
Luo Yi and Wang Dingji won the championship and approximately 661,625 baht (US$19,750) in prize money, while "Anna-Muna" took the runner-up position, receiving approximately 318,250 baht (US$9,500).
