Bangkok: Anutin Charnvirakul led a team to support parliamentary candidates in the final stages of campaigning. Supporters cheered for him to continue as Prime Minister, urging him to resolve border issues and inviting them to play badminton, sip tea, and speak Cantonese.

According to Thai News Agency, Mr. Anutin Charnvirakul, leader of the Bhumjaithai Party and prime ministerial candidate, along with Mr. Varawut Silpa-archa, Ms. Suphamas Isarabhakdi, and Mr. Anucha Burapachaisri, campaigned on the final day of the election. Their first stop was to campaign for Ms. Patcharin Samsiripong, a candidate for Member of Parliament in Sathorn District, Pathumwan District, and Ratchathewi District, at Teochew Health Park.

Upon alighting from the car, Mr. Anutin was greeted by an elderly man who sang a song about his hometown. Afterward, he met with former school friends who came to greet and chat with him, wishing him success in becoming Prime Minister again. He then continued on, stopping to greet people exercising in the park, who also approached him to take photos, offer words of encouragement, and express their desire for him to continue as Prime Minister and to close the Thai-Cambodian border crossings. Mr. Anutin responded, "I'm working on that, but I can't say much about it yet."

Some supporters conversed with Mr. Anutin in Cantonese, translating Chinese newspapers that contained news about the Bhumjaithai Party and Mr. Anutin himself. He reciprocated their well wishes in Chinese, wishing them good health.

Before engaging in a badminton game and tea with a group of senior citizens, Mr. Anutin was invited to sit in his usual seat. One elderly gentleman expressed his desire for Mr. Anutin to continue as Prime Minister, emphasizing his reluctance for the country to follow Cambodia's path. The gentleman noted the impressive efforts of Mr. Anutin's team over recent months and wished him success for an eight-year tenure, observing his past four-year performance as a basis for continuation. Some public members also expressed their hope for him to consolidate his party's influence.

Before departing Teochew Health Park, some attendees requested the continuation of the "Half-Price Plus" scheme. Mr. Anutin assured them that it would definitely continue 100%.
