Bangkok: Anutin Charnvirakul has announced that the cabinet list is finalized and will be submitted to His Majesty the King early next week. He also confirmed the launch of the "Half-Price Plus" scheme, which promises to be more comprehensive than previous versions, with the Ministry of Finance set to finalize the details soon.

According to Thai News Agency, Prime Minister Anutin Charnvirakul, in a recent interview, confirmed the completion of the list of ministers to be submitted to His Majesty the King early next week. When questioned about potential issues with the names on the cabinet list submitted by coalition parties, Anutin assured that the list is free of problems, with qualifications thoroughly checked by relevant agencies and the Cabinet Secretariat.

Addressing queries about the "Half-Price Plus" project, Anutin reiterated that the policy would be implemented irrespective of the current situation. This initiative is a promise made by the Bhumjaithai Party to the public, and it is deemed essential due to the party's significant role in the formation of the upcoming government.

Anutin elaborated on the timeline for the "Half-Price Plus" project, stating that public feedback from the end of last year was overwhelmingly positive. The project aims to stimulate the economy and domestic spending, ensuring funds circulate within the country. Anutin emphasized that the project would be expedited as a priority for the new government, differentiating it from other national security issues such as the oil crisis or the Middle East crisis.

When asked if the "Half-Price Plus" project would offer 2,000 baht as mentioned by the Prime Minister, Anutin confirmed the 'plus' version of the policy. He noted that the exact amount and format are still under consideration by the Minister of Finance, who plans to introduce clearer and more comprehensive versions.

Regarding the project's coverage and taxpayer concerns, Anutin stated that the final details are pending the Ministry of Finance's proposal to the Cabinet. He assured that the project would proceed, reflecting public confidence and approval, regardless of specific adjustments or increases.
