Bangkok: Anutin Charnvirakul, Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, dismissed rumors of a rift within the Bhumjaithai Party, describing it as an internal matter he intends to handle personally. Anutin, also the party leader, criticized those spreading rumors, labeling them as uninformed and unprofessional.
According to Thai News Agency, Anutin expressed frustration when questioned about reconciling with prominent party members Newin Chidchob, President of Buriram United Football Club, and Pipat Ratchakitprakarn, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Transport. Anutin's response followed a photo he posted on Facebook featuring the three key figures. He questioned the need for "clearing the air," emphasizing that any issues were internal and resolvable within the party.
Anutin reiterated that the supposed rift was a family matter, stating that any real problems would be addressed internally. He emphasized the long-standing relationship among party members, akin to siblings, and criticized reporters for sensationalizing headlines. He urged journalists to maintain professionalism and avoid spreading misinformation.
When probed about a cryptic post by Ms. Karuna Chidchob, Anutin dismissed its significance, defending the post's message about distancing from insincere individuals. He expressed skepticism toward those misinforming the public and emphasized the importance of analysis and informed journalism. Anutin criticized individuals he deemed insincere and lacking professionalism, highlighting the need for critical evaluation and education in understanding political dynamics.
