Aston Villa and BG Pathum United Collaborate for Youth Football Clinic

Bangkok: Aston Villa legend and Chanathip Songkrasin team up to open a football clinic for youth. Aston Villa and BG Pathum United have joined forces to organize a football clinic for young players in preparation for the "ASTON VILLA ASIA TOUR THAILAND" pre-season match scheduled for August 4th.According to Thai News Agency, Aston Villa, a renowned English Premier League team, has partnered with BG Pathum United, a leading club in the Thai League, to host the "ASTON VILLA ASIA TOUR THAILAND FOOTBALL CLINIC." This event, aimed at enhancing football skills among youth, was held at BG Training Centre 3 and catered to 100 children aged 9-12 on Monday, August 3, 2026.The clinic was graced by Ms. Nittayaporn Tarasuk, Commercial Business Director of BG Pathum United Football Club, and "Coach Ng???" Surachai Chaturaphatphong, Director of BG Pathum United Football Club, who served as chairpersons. The training sessions were led by BG Pathum United legends James Chester and Ahmed Elmohamady. They were joined by cur rent stars "Jay" Chanathip Songkrasin and Lucas Andersen, as well as former Thai national team players and legends from BG Pathum United, including Peerapong Pichitphotirat, Amnat Kaewkheaw, and Chatree Chimtalay.The clinic featured a structured program where young players were divided into four groups, each focusing on five sub-stations: Passing, Dribbling, Shooting, and 1v1 duels. These sessions provided an opportunity for the participants to compete against one another within their groups.The "ASTON VILLA ASIA TOUR THAILAND" match is a collaborative effort involving Sync Circle, the main organizer; Pro Meet Elite, responsible for project management and marketing; BG Sports, in charge of the match and live broadcast; and MAIN STAND, the media partner. The friendly match between Aston Villa and BG Pathum United is set to kick off on Tuesday, August 4th, at 7:30 PM.
