Nonthaburi: Autopsy results have unveiled that a 13-year-old female student was fatally shot once in the head during the tragic incident at Thepsirin Nonthaburi School. The bullet lodged in her brain caused significant damage, leading to her untimely death.
According to Thai News Agency, the parents of the young victim, who became the ninth fatality in the school shooting, have received her body from the Institute of Forensic Medicine, Police Hospital. They are preparing to hold religious ceremonies at Wat Lat Pladuk in Nonthaburi, amidst an atmosphere of deep sorrow.
The Forensic Institute confirmed that the victim, a first-year high school student, suffered a gunshot wound to the head. The bullet remained inside, causing critical brain damage that resulted in her death. There are ongoing investigations by Plai Bang Police Station in Nonthaburi Province concerning whether the perpetrator died by self-harm or police intervention, as multiple accounts and evidence from the scene are being examined.
