The owner, a Chinese national, has since left the country. Counterfeit trademarks of Siriraj Hospital's brand were also found, and coordination with the hospital is underway for further investigation.
The case falls under the Trademark Act (Section 108), which carries a penalty of up to four years of imprisonment or a fine of up to 400,000 baht, or both. The suspect has been presented to Bang Bon District Court for prosecution, and efforts are being made to issue an arrest warrant for the actual owner.
