According to Thai News Agency, Rabbi Nechemia Wilhelm, Director of Chabad House Bangkok and a senior rabbi and leader of the Jewish community in Thailand, revealed that today's event is an important opportunity for community members to come together, pray, seek blessings, and celebrate the start of the new year in a joyful atmosphere.
Rabbi Neshimia also addressed the situation and issues related to interfaith relations, emphasizing that regardless of nationality or religion, there are both good people and those who may commit wrongdoing. He stressed that everyone should respect the law and live together in understanding. He confirmed that he has communicated with community members to strictly adhere to Thai law. He has lived in Thailand for a long time and has a deep love for the country and its people. He hopes that the Jewish and Thai communities will be good friends, living together with respect and understanding. Finally, he extended New Year's wishes, hoping for happiness, good health, and that the new year will be a beginning of good things, including peace and friendship in society.
