According to Thai News Agency, while the Spanish Grand Prix will relocate to Madrid starting in 2026, the Barcelona circuit will not be absent from the Formula 1 calendar. It will continue to hold races under the new title "Grand Prix Barcelona-Catalunya." The races are scheduled for 2028, 2030, and 2032, ensuring the circuit's ongoing presence in the racing world.
The Spa-Francorchamps circuit will take on hosting duties in the intervening years, specifically in 2026, 2027, 2029, and 2031, as part of this rotating host system.
