Bangkok: Bhumjaithai Party unveiled five prospective MPs from the Prachachart Party, declaring support for Anutin Charnvirakul as Prime Minister and readiness to join in forming a government. On February 20, 2026, Chaiyanok Chidchob, Secretary-General of the Bhumjaithai Party, stated that they are still open to all political parties that have expressed their intention to support the party. He acknowledged that the delay in forming a government might affect their plans, but affirmed that all parties are working diligently under the status of a caretaker government and awaiting official certification of the election results from the Election Commission.
According to Thai News Agency, Mr. Sukarno Mata, the prospective MP for Yala, confirmed that all five MPs, including Colonel Thawi Sodsong, the party leader, will adhere to the party's resolution to support working with Bhumjaithai Party. He stated that past legal issues will not be an obstacle to cooperation, as they are within the judicial process, and the decision to join the government was in line with the majority vote of the people.
