Cannon Fire Causes Panic in Ubon Ratchathani Province


Ubon ratchathani: There was the sound of a cannon in the Anma area at 6:56 a.m. The sound of cannon fire in the Chong An Ma area of Ubon Ratchathani Province began at 6:56 a.m. and continued. Villagers quickly gathered their belongings and evacuated.



According to Thai News Agency, at 6:56 a.m., a cannonball was heard in the Chong An Ma area of Ubon Ratchathani Province, and the sound continued intermittently. While some residents remained in the area, some quickly packed their belongings and loaded themselves into vehicles to evacuate immediately after the gunfire. However, the atmosphere in Nam Yuen remained sparse, with vehicles still moving.



Reporters surveying the bunker area in the Nam Yuen Municipality and Song Subdistrict communities found a group of villagers who were planning to evacuate but were initially hesitant. However, they are now determined to leave but have been unable to arrange for a vehicle to come and take them away.
