Bangkok:The Community Development Department has launched the 'D Nice Market' to assist OTOP (One Tambon One Product) entrepreneurs in generating income amidst the flood crisis.
According to Thai News Agency, the event, taking place from September 30 to October 2 at the Government Complex in Chaeng Wattana, invites shoppers to purchase quality products from all 76 provinces. This initiative aims to provide financial support to local entrepreneurs impacted by the recent flooding.
With over 500 booths and 64 food tasting stations, the market showcases an array of 1,900 products, including food, beverages, clothing, accessories, and home decorations. Each item reflects unique local wisdom and traditions, offering consumers the opportunity to discover lesser-known cultural treasures.
Participants in the "Thai Chuay Thai Plus" program can use their benefits to purchase goods at the event, which promises additional value through flash sales, promotions, and entertainment. The event also features workshops, demonstrations, and online sales to engage and attract visitors.
The 'D Nice Market' not only provides a platform to shop and taste local products but also plays a crucial role in boosting the livelihoods of affected communities, offering both financial support and encouragement to help them recover and thrive.
