David Beckham Honored with Star on Hollywood Walk of Fame

Los angeles: Sir David Beckham, the first English footballer to win league titles in four different countries, was honored with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. During the ceremony, Tom Cruise lauded Beckham's life as akin to a Hollywood movie, emphasizing his determination and global influence in sports and culture. Victoria Beckham remarked that the recognition came at an ideal time, just before the World Cup in Los Angeles, highlighting an exciting era for American soccer.

Beckham, while addressing the audience, expressed his surprise and gratitude for the honor, reminiscing about his humble beginnings in East London and his dreams of becoming a footballer. Currently serving as the president and co-owner of Inter Miami CF, Beckham spoke of his pride in the increasing popularity of soccer in the United States. Over his extensive playing career, Beckham represented elite clubs like Manchester United, Real Madrid, AC Milan, LA Galaxy, and Paris Saint-Germain.
