Disaster Prevention Center Opens 24-Hour Hotline for Flood Victims in Region 4


Hat yai: The Disaster Prevention and Mitigation Center of Region 4 has established a 24-hour hotline to provide assistance to flood victims in the region. Military units have been assigned to four districts to support the public.

According to Thai News Agency, the Fourth Army Area Disaster Relief Center has emphasized the importance of delivering rapid and comprehensive assistance across affected areas, leading to the division of regions for efficient disaster relief operations.

Different military units have been designated to manage specific areas, each with dedicated hotlines. Area 1, under the responsibility of the Army Development Command (ADC), covers locations such as Ratchakan Niphatsongkhro and Hat Yai Hospital, with contact numbers 097-153-5694 and 083-015-6282. Area 2 is managed by Infantry Battalion 5, Infantry Regiment 1, providing support to areas including Ban Phru and Sadao, reachable at 086-285-3903 and 084-963-5838.

Area 3 is overseen by the 5th Artillery Battalion, 5th Artillery Regiment
, and includes locations like Thetsaphatthana and Hat Yai District Office. Assistance can be sought via 066-167-8778 and 095-447-7199. Lastly, Area 4 is under the 42nd Military District Battalion, covering regions such as Rattana Uthit and Hat Yai Nai Temple, with hotlines 088-044-4008 and 083-516-6968.
