DT Motorsport Apologizes and Takes Responsibility for Homologation Error

Manila:The DT Motorsport team has issued an apology following a decision by the Royal Automobile Association of Thailand (RAAT), clarifying that the mistake was the team's and not the fault of their young driver, Nong Payu.

According to Thai News Agency, DT Motorsport made a public statement on Facebook, accepting the RAAT's decision without objection. The team expressed regret for a misinterpretation of the Homologation Form, clarifying that it did not align with the intention of the IAME factory. They stressed that the error lay with the team and not with the driver, Nong Payu.

The team explained that the language used in the factory documents led to confusion among race organizers and the IAME factory inspection team, who shared the same misunderstanding as DT Motorsport. They emphasized that there was no intention to gain any competitive advantage.
