Other areas within the prefecture experienced levels 5-6+, while neighboring regions such as Kagoshima, Fukuoka, Saga, Nagasaki, Miyazaki, Oita, and Yamaguchi Prefectures felt levels 3-5.
The Japan Meteorological Agency has issued a tsunami warning specifically for the Ariake and Yatsushiro coastal areas. Residents in these areas have been urged to remain vigilant for potential aftershocks and to stay informed through official channels.
