Bangkok: A townhome in the Udom Suk area of Bang Na district was completely destroyed by fire, resulting in two deaths and two injuries.
According to Thai News Agency, the fire broke out at approximately 2:45 AM in a four-story townhome located in a luxury housing project opposite Soi Udomsuk 33 on Udomsuk Road, Bang Na Nuea Subdistrict, Bang Na District, Bangkok.
Firefighters managed to contain the blaze after battling it for over 30 minutes, preventing it from spreading to adjacent buildings. The fire started on the first floor and quickly consumed the entire house. Two German nationals lost their lives at the scene: a woman approximately 40 years old and another approximately 70 years old. Two other German nationals, a 50-year-old man and a 20-year-old man, were injured after they jumped from the house to escape the flames.
Authorities, including police from Bang Na Police Station, are currently investigating the cause of the fire.
