Flood Relief Registration Reaches Over 580,000 Households

Bangkok:584,785 households have registered to receive flood relief through government initiatives. Mr. Jetseth Thaiseth, Deputy Minister of Interior, has emphasized the importance of facilitating the disbursement of these relief funds efficiently and urged officials nationwide to assist citizens through various channels.

According to Thai News Agency, The government has introduced multiple registration methods, including the "Tang Rat" application, to streamline the process. Currently, 290,000 households in Bangkok and 80,000 in Samut Prakan province have registered, with the remainder from other affected provinces.

Mr. Jetseth has instructed provincial governors, district officers, and local administrative organizations to ensure that registration services are accessible and convenient for the public. This includes providing assistance to those with questions or difficulties using the application and offering support at in-person registration offices.

Additionally, Mr. Jetseth directed local authorities to deploy teams to temporary shelters to establish registration points for those unable to travel to government offices or use digital platforms. This initiative aims to deliver comprehensive and rapid assistance to disaster victims.
