Narathiwat: Flooding in Narathiwat is beginning to ease, with the situation nearing normalcy in many areas, though four districts remain a cause for concern due to high water levels.
According to Thai News Agency, Lt. Col. Trakoon Thotham, the Governor of Narathiwat Province, disclosed that the flood situation has shown signs of improvement following a cessation in rainfall. Despite this positive development, the districts of Cho Airong, Tak Bai, Su-ngai Kolok, and Mueang Narathiwat continue to experience significant flooding.
The flooding has impacted all 13 districts of the province, affecting over 300,000 residents, marking it as one of the worst flooding events in decades. Authorities remain vigilant as they monitor the affected districts to ensure the safety and well-being of the local population.
