Rayong: The Department of Business Development is spearheading efforts to boost career prospects and business opportunities through the 'Franchise for Jobs Roadshow 2026', taking place from June 12-16, 2026, at Central Rayong. According to Thai News Agency, Mr. Poonpong Naiyanapakorn, Director-General of the Department of Business Development, highlighted that the event's objective is to provide the public with access to established business models that minimize startup risks and facilitate income generation. This effort aims to strengthen the grassroots economy by leveraging the franchise system, which plays a crucial role in fostering new entrepreneurs and distributing income, thereby bolstering the local economy, particularly in Rayong province. The roadshow features 40 exceptional franchise businesses, supported and developed by the Department, across various sectors including food, beverage, service, education, and beauty/spa. Attendees can participate in activities such as a Franchise Talk seminar, gain insights from franchise success stories, and enjoy special offers including loan privileges from leading financial institutions. Additionally, there are opportunities to win gift vouchers and discounts on franchise packages, offering reductions of up to 30% worth over 200,000 baht, to facilitate easier business startups.
