Funeral Rites for Hlun Solo Draws Emotional Support from Community

Bangkok: The first night of the funeral rites for "Hlun Solo" was a significant event hosted by the Faculty of Political Science at Chulalongkorn University, alongside his dedicated fans and local residents. Hlun's grandmother and family expressed their heartfelt thanks to everyone for their unwavering support.

According to Thai News Agency, the ceremony held on August 8th was led by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Sirirat Adsakul, Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Political Science, Chulalongkorn University. Attendees included members of the Chulalongkorn University Political Science Alumni Association, the mayors of Somdet Subdistrict, representatives from Somdet Pittayakhom School, the Abbot of Somdet District, and FC (Social Security Office), along with relatives and neighbors. The gathering was marked by an atmosphere of deep sorrow. Hlun, a former student of the Faculty of Political Science at Chulalongkorn University, also participated in the university's 37th Rural Development Project cohort.

Mrs. Buasong Phengsuk, Grandma Hlun, and the family expressed their gratitude for the support and assistance received from everyone involved in preparing the venue, as well as those who set up food stalls and provided refreshments. Fans fondly remember Hlun not only for his talent but also for his dedication to his grandmother and family. Despite growing up in a financially challenged household, Hlun was determined to pursue education and earned a scholarship to Chulalongkorn University. He is admired as an idol and role model for his perseverance and creative storytelling, particularly in sharing his travel experiences and backpacking adventures with those unable to witness them firsthand. The family has planned the funeral rites from August 8th to 10th, followed by the cremation ceremony on August 11th at Wat Rangsi Chatchawan, Somdet District, Kalasin Province.
