Bangkok:Central Thailand The Geo-Informatics and Space Technology Development Agency (GISTDA) has identified significant flooding in central Thailand, affecting approximately 822,464 rai of land across 14 provinces.
According to Thai News Agency, the data was obtained from the RADARSAT-2 satellite and highlights the widespread impact of the floods. The affected provinces include Phichit, Nakhon Sawan, Suphan Buri, Sukhothai, Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya, Phitsanulok, Kamphaeng Phet, Chai Nat, Lop Buri, Saraburi, Ang Thong, Phetchabun, Uthai Thani, and Sing Buri.
GISTDA has shared this information with relevant agencies to aid in the planning, management, and monitoring of the flood situation. This collaboration is part of efforts to manage the situation effectively, including strategizing for ongoing evaluation.
