Bangkok: The missing head and genitals from a murder case in Udon Thani were discovered hidden in a paint can beside the suspect's hut, as confirmed by local authorities. The case centers around the brutal murder of Mr. Somsak, also known as "Tong," whose body was found with stab wounds and missing vital parts in Ban Suk Sabai, Ban Dung District, Udon Thani Province.
According to Thai News Agency, Pol. Col. Natthaphon Phayommai, Deputy Commander of Udon Thani Provincial Police, led a meticulous re-examination of the crime scene, which led to the arrest of Mr. Thung, a 30-year-old suspect residing merely 50 meters from where the crime occurred. Investigators found evidence in Mr. Thung's hut, including bloodstains on a blanket and a knife sheath similar to one found near the victim's body. Although Mr. Thung initially denied involvement, a urine test indicated narcotics use, resulting in his detention on drug charges.
In the meantime, rescue teams conducted searches in a nearby pond for the victim's missing parts, only to uncover numerous animal bones instead. However, the latest development revealed that Mr. Somsak's head and genitals were located inside a paint can adjacent to Mr. Thung's hut. These remains had been dismembered, charred, and preserved with dog bones, awaiting further forensic analysis. Additionally, authorities discovered what appeared to be preserved brain matter in a glass jar, raising suspicions that Mr. Thung might have preserved it for consumption.
As the investigation continues, police escorted Mr. Thung from the Udon Thani Provincial Court back to the hut to identify the location of the findings. This shocking revelation has drawn significant public attention, with officials piecing together the grim details of this heinous crime.
