Urgently hunting down 2 gunmen who broke in and stole 3.3 million baht from a money exchange company employee who had just withdrawn from a bank in the middle of a famous shopping mall parking lot in the Phatthanakan area. From questioning the victim, who is an employee of a foreign exchange company that her employer used to withdraw money to use in the business, she stated that after withdrawing cash from the bank, she walked back to her car, which was parked not far from the bank's exit (from the bank door, it is only 2 steps down the stairs to the parking lot).While walking to the car, 2 criminals attacked from behind and pushed the victim into the car, threatened her with a gun and stole money, then got on a woman's motorcycle, a black Yamaha X-Max, license plate number unknown, and rode away out the back, dragging the shopping mall parking cones with it. The victim tried to chase the criminals for about 200 meters before missing them, who made a U-turn and fled towards Phatthanakan Road heading inbound.This afternoon, the police called the victim and the company owner in for further questioning, as the police currently have information that only three people were involved in the cash withdrawal process, and there are additional suspicions. However, the victim was not the only one who made the cash withdrawal transaction. There were two other people in the victim's car, and one person rode a motorcycle to guide them. Last night, the Prawet Police Station investigators invited all five people involved in the case for questioning, including the victim, the bank security guard, and three other people who were w ith the victim. The Superintendent of Prawet Police Station expects to apprehend the perpetrators within the next 1-2 days, as the perpetrators have been narrowed down.
