Life-Saving Walkway Averts Disaster During Historic Flooding in Nan

Bangkok: The recent historic flooding in Nan has resulted in extensive damage throughout the region, including severe impacts on Nan Hospital. The hospital experienced flooding to a depth that reached overhead, causing significant destruction. Though the floodwaters have since receded, the aftermath remains challenging.

According to Thai News Agency, during the height of the flood crisis, Nan Hospital managed to safely care for 300 patients. This was made possible by an improvised solution-a connecting walkway between unfinished buildings. This makeshift bridge played a crucial role in ensuring that patients continued to receive necessary medical attention despite the challenging conditions.
