Amnat Charoen:The Maha Amnaat Festival 2 is set to return to Amnat Charoen on January 9-10, 2027, promising an even more spectacular experience with 22 artists transforming the Maha Amnaat Square into a vibrant "Street of Fire and Fantasy."
According to Thai News Agency, the festival, organized by Ble Patumrach, follows the success of its inaugural event last year. It aims to draw music lovers nationwide to Amnat Charoen, enhancing the local economy and community engagement.
The festival, inspired by the ambition of local Isaan artists to contribute to their hometown, spans over 140 acres and features a diverse array of music genres, including rock, pop, indie, Luk Thung, and Mor Lam. This year's lineup includes renowned artists such as Pongsit Kampee, Monkan Kaenkhun, and Ble Patumrach, among others.
A highlight of the festival is the Maha Son Teen Cup, a football tournament with a million-baht prize. The competition, now expanded to two fields, invites teams from across the country and will be accompanied by concerts from the festival's artists.
Ble Patumrach emphasizes the festival's role in boosting tourism and local business in Amnat Charoen, aiming to transform the area from a mere transit point into a destination. Ticket sales for the event will begin on October 9, 2026, with a limited availability period of three days.
