According to Thai News Agency, on October 14, 2026, at 930 PM, at the Santi Maitri Building, Government House, Ms. Sabida Thaiseth, Minister of Culture, presented an award of honor to Ms. Rattikan Amlai, or 'Nene Royal,' a 16-year-old Thai youth from Phuket, for her exemplary contribution to preserving and showcasing Thai culture on the world stage. This recognition followed her achievement as Champion in the global competition America's Got Talent 2026 in the United States. Also present were Ms. Chotika Akrakitsobhakul, Director-General of the Department of Cultural Promotion; Ms. Thitnat Sompatsiri, Inspector-General of the Ministry of Culture; and Mr. Suraphan Charoensap, Deputy Director-General of the Department of Cultural Promotion.
