Ministry of Public Health Investigates Data Inaccuracies in “Doctor Ready” App

Bangkok: The Ministry of Public Health has announced an investigation into the inaccuracies reported in the "Doctor Ready" app, confirming that the system is functioning correctly and expressing readiness to address any issues immediately.

According to Thai News Agency, the government has disclosed that the Ministry of Public Health is actively working with hospitals to identify and rectify the inaccuracies in the app, which currently does not align with the actual services received by users. Ms. Ploytalay Laksmisangchan, Deputy Spokesperson for the Prime Minister's Office, stated that public concerns have arisen due to discrepancies between medical history data in the "Mor Prom" application and potential misuse of healthcare benefits. In response, the Ministry of Public Health, alongside healthcare providers, has pledged to investigate and correct the data promptly to restore public confidence in the accuracy and security of health information. Upon receiving the reports, the Ministry quickly initiated an investigation and found that the Mor Prom application and its data transfer system were operating without errors. The information presented in the app was deemed accurate and consistent with data from healthcare providers. However, the Minist ry is collaborating with healthcare providers to investigate and correct any discrepancies related to the actual services received.

Citizens who notice inaccuracies in their medical records or service lists are encouraged to report these issues for verification and correction. They can do so by contacting the listed hospital or service unit, the Provincial Public Health Office, or the Doctor Ready System.

The government's policy, executed through the Ministry of Public Health, aims to integrate digital health services into a comprehensive "Super App." This initiative will enable citizens to conveniently and swiftly access health information, verify healthcare rights, and contact service units through a single application. The Doctor Ready app, utilizing the MOPH PHR system, records and displays the healthcare service history of citizens, allowing retrospective verification of data entry. This system empowers citizens to access their medical history for self-care and verification purposes, ensuring the accuracy of their service information, Ms. Ploytalee added.
