National Police Chief Criticizes Dangerous Driving Behavior of ‘Luk Peach’

Bangkok: The national police chief emphasized that the picture is clear that “Luk Peach” cut in front of a pickup truck, almost no need for further investigation. Pol. Gen. Kittirat Panphet, the national police chief, addressed the incident involving ‘Noom Luk Peach’ who dangerously cut off a pickup truck, resulting in injuries to an elderly couple. The individual involved claimed to be related to the national police chief.

According to Thai News Agency, Pol. Gen. Kittirat Panphet shared that he knew ‘Mayor Biaw’, the father of the perpetrator, as they hail from the same area. After the incident, he communicated with ‘Noom Peach’s’ father, advising him that his son’s actions were inappropriate and emphasizing the importance of not using familial connections to evade accountability.

The national police chief pointed out that claiming titles for commendable actions can instill pride, but doing so for misconduct is unacceptable. He stressed the importance of awareness and responsibility, adding that the father of Luk Peach apologized and that he bore no anger, yet underscored the need for accountability.

Pol. Gen. Kittirat stated that the video evidence of the incident was clear, negating the necessity for further investigation. He highlighted the potential dangers of such reckless behavior, especially if children or vulnerable individuals were present in the vehicle.

He urged parents and society to guide young individuals towards responsible road behavior, emphasizing awareness and accountability. He remarked that although they are considered adults, they must exhibit maturity and common sense, and if at fault, they should acknowledge their mistakes without attributing blame elsewhere.
