Bangkok: Pheu Thai Party unveils four deputy spokespersons. Suksit points out the government’s failure to implement its own policies, despite its claim of only four months, and slams the government for lacking sincerity in amending the constitution.
According to Thai News Agency, Mr. Suksit Srijomkhwan, spokesman for the Pheu Thai Party, held a press conference to introduce four deputy spokespersons for the Pheu Thai Party: Ms. Chayapa Sindhuphrai, MP for Roi Et, Pheu Thai Party; Ms. Prapaporn Thongpaknam, MP for Sukhothai, Pheu Thai Party; Mr. Kritchanon Aiyapanya; and Mr. Payu Nuengjamnong.
Mr. Kritchanon stated that the new party leader and executive committee wanted to change the way they communicated with the public, and he was pleased to be a part of driving the Pheu Thai Party forward. He expressed his personal expertise in engineering, economics, and infrastructure.
Ms. Chayapa stated that this is another opportunity for her to serve as a spokesperson for the Pheu Thai Party, communicating facts and information about the party that connects with the public, emphasizing constructive communication and prioritizing the public’s interests.
Ms. Prapaporn said she will be a voice for the complaints she receives from the public, particularly regarding the serious problems in agriculture. She will then communicate these issues to the government, urging them to take expedited action to address them.
Mr. Payu said that he has returned to serve as deputy spokesperson for the Pheu Thai Party, and will provide support and help clarify various facts.
Meanwhile, Mr. Suksit also stated that there are questions about the government having only been in power for a month, what is there to debate? However, just today, the Pheu Thai Party’s statement has already raised two issues, demonstrating a failure of governance and a determination to commit to its own policies, despite having promised to remain in power for only four months. This doesn’t include the Prime Minister’s comments on encroachment on sovereignty, the signing of the rare earth MOU, and the transfer of civil servants, which are highly inconsistent with the facts and what is appropriate.
“If we’re referring to constitutional amendments, we must question the government’s sincerity in amending the constitution. The media and the public have already seen committee chairpersons absent, senators walk out, and quorum failures. This is no excuse. The government has failed in its administration, causing damage to the country, and still has no intention of amending the constitution. Please follow up and send any information to the Pheu Thai Party. We promise to be the voice of the people on all matters,” said Mr. Suksit.
